I keep reading different posts and keep seeing an abbreviation of TTT. What is this?
medial meniscus repair x1, medial & lateral meniscectomies x4, lateral release, grade IV osteochondral defect with microfracture x2 so far, partial synovectomy, patellar synovitis, trochlear blisters, OA, synvisc, prolotherapy, cortisone, told to wait 20+ years for TKR

Hi, welcome to the board - I found this explanation from the KNEEguru and it covers the TTT procedure and should make it easier for you to understand.

Tibial tuberosity transfer (T.T.T.) - - Posted by admin (The KNEEguru), 25 April 2003

There are a number of procedures in this surgical category. All attempt by different subtleties to correctly realign the patella (kneecap) by dislodging the bony attachment area of the supporting patellar tendon, a couple of inches below the kneecap - i.e. the tibial tubercle:
Maquet osteotomy
Fulkerson procedure
Elmslie-Trillat procedure
Roux-Goldthwait procedure
Hauser procedure

Hope this helped you,  ;)
