Pain on outside of leg right below my knee.
« on: May 23, 2005, 01:34:02 AM »
If i squat down (like to read a putt) I have severe pain on the side of my left leg below the knee.  It gets better if I dont work out for a week but I can still feel it.  If I work out (running playing basketball) more than 3 times a week it gets really bad and even walking hurts somewhat.

One of many possibilities is fat pad irritation. You should get it checked out by an OS. No one hear can tell you what is wrong with your knee for sure. It could be any number of things.
good luck

I agree get an OS to look at it... I had pain down the side of my knee that radiated down my shin and calves.... turned out I'd completely torn my ACL and needed a reconstruction.
