HTO 10 Weeks...Looks Good !!!

Hey Kneegeeks ,

I haven't been here in a while ... Just been busy !!!
Well, I am 10 weeks out of my HTO, and the Doc has given me the OK for 100% weight bearing !!!
Make's me Happy  ::)
I have received alot of help and support here, and made some food friends... ;D
I have lent a hand in other peoples recoveries, and their impending surgeries !!!

That is what is so great about this site, and everyone here...Unconditional Kindness and Support !!!
I stumbled upon this site, and never looked back !!!

I will keep you all informed of my progress, and, as always, whoever needs to contact me for support or advice...I am always here for you guys !!!  8)

I wish upon EVERYONE here .... GOOD HEALTH, GREAT KNEES, MANY FRIENDS !!! ...  :D

*14/11/05 Hardware removal plate and 4 screws
*Now suffers from leg length discrepancy of about an inch.
*15/10/08 Bad fall, ACL Tear & Baker's Cyst

A High Tibial Osteotomy is surgery for knee realignment.

I am 12 weeks out now, and I climbed my fist 20ft ladder since last year !!!  ::)

Good stuff this HTO.  Glad you are having a good recovery.  Mine is still going strong.  I have skied, referee lots of high level rsoccer, cycling etc.  It was the right procedure for my knee.  I had a closing wedge and will have the hardware removed before the end of the year.
