Can't bend my leg!
« on: May 03, 2005, 06:28:52 PM »
I posted a bit ago under Knee Pain--I am waiting for my Doc to call me back, but I can't bend my knee!  It feels like something is going to pop off the top of it!  I can have it pretty straight, no problem, but no weight, and walking more than a few steps is killer.  Any ideas?

How did it start?  ???

EDIT - ok read that thread, well do you have crutches? You should get some. I hated mine when I blew my knee last year but boy do they give the knee a rest!

Nope, no crutches.  I do have a brace and I am wearing it.  Maybe Doc will have some idea's when she calls back.  I'm just wondering why I can't bend my leg?  It seems like I'd have trouble straightening it.

Well I don't want to make a diagnostic over the internet since I'm not a doctor but if you heard a pop and something is blocking, it's possible that you tore your meniscus and a portion of it ended up between your tibia and femur, making flexion physically impossible.
