Adhesion???

I didn't get to talk to my os after my diagnostic scope, he talked to my mom, but she was a bit overwhelmed and didn't catch it all.  Anyway, he wrote on my post-op papers: chondroplasty, debridgement- adhesion.  What does the adhesion part mean.  He said he was going to look around and clean it up a bit, but I never heard of an adhesion, what is that??

Patti,

An adhesion is another name for scar tissue which can sometimes cause major problems and pain.
