Hello, If I have a tracking problem with my kneecap can something be done or will I be in a brace forever?

PT, brace and taping can usually help that. If not, sometimes surgery is reccomended.

SEVERAL dislocations
Grade 3 Chondromalacia
Medial & Lateral Meniscus tears
Plica Syndrome
Sept 14th 2005-(LK)ACL recon, TTT, menisectomy,plica removal
May 26th/06-Torn ACL(RK)
June 14th/06-(LK)ACL graft recon, screw removal, menisectomy

Check out the following links for great info on this condition (called PFS or patello-femoral syndrome). You can definitely live with this thing, and by doing special exercises, limiting high impact stuff, and keeping the muscles strong, you can hopefully forget you even have a problem.
