Confused re. Toft
« on: May 01, 2005, 08:25:44 AM »
Hi. I'm pretty new to all this so excuse my ignorance but there's something I can't suss out and wondered if the community can help.  The procedure carried out at the Alphaclinik in Munich seems very successful. I know it's their own website but the pictures appear to speak for themselves right?  So you then start trying to work out the logistics of getting to Munich and paying for it all and then reality dawns: Why should I have to fly all that way? Why is Toft's procedure not replicated by knee surgeons around the world (and more importantly ten miles down the road!)?
It just doesn't seem to make sense when someone's doing something well and - from what I can glean - they don't accept his work.  Explain please?
