weird knee
« on: April 27, 2005, 01:25:13 AM »
well im a active boxer . 6 miles roadwork a day 30 mins skipping etc. i had to take time off a few months back. as my knee hurt after running. when ever i moved my leg my knee would feel like it was locking up/muscles tensing. after hot baths morning and before bed it was ok to walk on after a week. after that my knee started making cracking/squishing noises when walking up or down stairs. and now my knee clicks inside when i skip. as in bring my leg up then put pressure on it when its back down on the floor it then clicks. theres no paint at all what could this be?

Hey !!

A overdone knee can take time to heal. But if you have given it a long time and still have lots of troubles maybe you should go see a doc. I don't think it's any seroius if you don't have pain. Many people have these noises without having any problems at all.
But if you feel unsure a visit to a OS specialized on knees could be something.

Good idea to get in and have it checked Strac, no use going on and making something worse that could avoid surgery down the road. Someone like you that is so very active , it will drive you buggy not knowing what it is . Then should it cause more problems end up sitting around for weeks or months recovering from surgery. Best wishes to you, Ron
