Term for broken knee due to auto impact
« on: April 19, 2005, 02:32:16 AM »
I am a student doing some research for a class, the paper that I am writing has some information dealing with pedestrians who have been struck by a car.  I know that there is a term for the trauma that follows this type of accident (both technical and slang) and was wondering if anyoone could tell me what tha was :)?  Also does anyone know where on the net I could find some info, detailed, about the effects of this type of impact?  I don't want to make someone type it up on a message board when its likely already been written and available on the internet.  thanks ;D

You might try one of the search sites with something like: Car versus pedestrian. Use google, or ask jeeves, etc. You may have to wade through a bunch of material to find what you want. Good Luck Teresa
