Synvisc and scar tissue
« on: February 25, 2005, 02:00:54 AM »
I am getting my first synvisc shot next Tuesday.  I am three weeks post-op from an extensive procedure to remove tons of scar tissue in my knee joint. I have pretty bad articular damage on the knee cap and in trochlear and femoral grooves.   My OS wants to try and see how the synvisc works to provide some cushioning for my articular damage.

I was wondering if anyone has had synvisc injections post op after scar tissue removal and if it had any impact in terms of calming the knee and working as an anti-inflam as well?
