Post operative Knee Pain!
« on: February 05, 2005, 08:39:38 AM »
Hi!  It is nearly 4 weeks since my TKR.  All is going really well.  I have good movement, and stability.  Little pain during the day, only discomfort, and of course, little 'staying' power!
But at night, the pain is quite severe.  I take Tramadol, at night, but the ache keeps waking me, 6/7 times.

I know I am lucky to be recovering so well, but does anyone know how to get a good nights sleep?

Hey !!

What about laying better using pillows under your knee so you make it lay still ?
Or maybe you could have better painmeds. Talk with your doc.
Hope this helps.
