While running in the garden earlier today at some speed, I suddenly heard a popping sound at the rear of my left thigh, about a foot above my knee. Its a constant numb pain and I have to hobble quite severely while walking. Can anyone advise what this might be? Thanks

It could be lots of things from a hamstring injur to ITB problems to knee problems. If it is that bad that you can't seem to walk on it properly then you need to be seen by a doctor a GP or ER doc at least and then a possible referral to and OS, PT, Sport med doc or what ever.

Hope this helps.

By the way is there any swelling, bruising, tenderness etc etc. or does it just hurt???
