Second Attempt at Physio - 16 February 2005
« on: February 02, 2005, 03:53:54 AM »
After my failed try at having physio on Monday 31 January, I am trying to see the physio that was off sick on 16th February 2005.  I hope that I don't have to go through another half hour of paperwork and history!!

I am eager to get going with building up as much muscle, strength and balance as possible before any surgery this year!!  ;D

Talk about inpatient patient  ;)

Well guys let's make it a tri-fecta.  This is the day that I'll be seeing my new OS.  Hope we all get some answers on Feb. 16th.  Lizzie, that was just a glitch that they did not get hold of you in time, but you will do fine the next session.  Good luck with the new therapist and get building up those muscles again.......

Good Luck FA & TT Twin

Again, I just wanted to say how grateful I am for the responses I have been getting from all you KNEEgeeks.  You are all truly amazing.  I am blessed to have such support.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I might not be blessed with money, but who needs money when you have as much support as I get from all of you.  I am so blessed.

Love to everyone ... Lizzie xx

I've just realised that my parents are not going to be around to take me to physio tomorrow.  Darn it.  I don't know if I am going to be able to talke myself.  My legs are double the size.  They are so swollen.  I never usualy suffer from any swelling, even after injuries.  I am really concerned.  I can't even find my knees that have disappeared under all this horrible fat/swelling.  I am unable to gp out with any running shoes on, which I live and die in.  I usually wear Nike Shox Turbos as they are so good for me and so cushioned for my knees.  They don't cause any shock to my knees etc.  I don't think that I can get on any shoes, my ankles and feet are just gigantic.  They are really painful.  I don't know what to do.  :o ::)  Not even slippers!!  ??? :'(

Lizzie. That's horrible!  What a predicament, is there any way you can get a friend or hire a taxi to get you there.  You have been waiting for this appointment for so long!  If I were closer, I'd be happy to take you, lol the Atlantic is in the way.

L O T S   of   H U G S   and   E N C O U R A G E M E N T coming your way ! ! ! !

I've just called and wanted to speak to my physio, but she is in a meeting.  I left a complete and full message explaining what is wrong with me and I've said that if necessary, I will endeavour to get there, but I do not want to cause any undue stresses on my legs and my body as well as cause my Fibromyalgia to get any worse than it already is.

I'm now waiting for my physio to call me - the body blimp back!!  Has anyone got a pin spare that I can use???  ??? ::) :'( :'( :o :'( :'(
