Wellington Hosp Knee Unit--need info
« on: January 10, 2005, 03:40:14 PM »
I have a history of knee problems that began with an adolescent condition known as "Osgood Schlatter Disease".  Long story short, this has resulted in a lifetime of knee problems--exacerbated by sports- the primary consequence of which has been a wearing away of the cartilage tissue and bone in the knee.  I have had a total of 7 knee operations, mostly arthroscopies, to remove loose bodies from the knee.  I reinjured the knee while playing sports recently and think I need another scope done to remove/repair tissue in my knee.  The problem is that I need an orthopedist in London and don't know my way around very well yet.  The group at Wellington Hospital in Northwest London looks very good--any insights on them?

Hi there, you should post this in the General  knee questions section and more people will see your post.

Hope this will help some.
