Used knee goods
« on: January 09, 2005, 10:36:32 PM »
Hey everyone,

I was wondering if people would be interested in starting some kind of swap shop/bulletin board for knee products they are no longer using.

For instance, I think I can get another cryo cuff out of my health insurance.  That would mean I have an extra that I'd be willing to pass on to someone for the cost of postage.

I'm sure people must have old knee braces and supports and other paraphenalia that they'd be willing to share/sell.

I'm not a dealer or anything... it's just that I rent a room in a house.  My room is aprrox. 12x8 feet and I just don't have the extra room and can't bear to throw away good equipment.

Is anyone interested?  Is this possible?  Any thoughts?

Sid

I think it's a wonderful idea!  I had surgery on my right knee, and have to wait for it to heal before doing the left knee (meniscus misery).

I would even be interested in the machine they use at PT to zap you.  What is it called? STIM or something like that?

Fabulous idea, hope it catches on.
