Cement spacer block

What is this?  How is it done?

severe tibia platau fracture-6 screws & l-plate 1-2004  staph infection 5-2004 screw and plate removal / antibiotics pic-line 7 weeks now 1/2 the miniscus gone awaiting TKR

I am not sure what exactly you are asking. BUT think you might be refering to the plastic spacer put in with a total knee replacement that is cemented in place.  THE upper and lower components (tibia and femoral) are cemented in place and then the spacer is in the middle of the knee. Arthroscopes Left 11 Right 2, MRSA, L TKR  ,  Revision, LR x5, Medial and lateral meniscus repair, Broken prosthesis
Osteochondral Fracture,untreated 6 mths. Revision new tkr 01-07 awaiting new hip and right knee
R TKR pending

if you are asking about an infected prosthesis you could be asking about an antibiotic spacer Teresa
