Have any of you had knee surgery by Dr Scott Katzman, he has a office in Port Saint lucie, Fort Pierce and Jupiter. Florida
???    :)     ???
I am fixing to under go another surgery from him really soon, and I just had arthoscopic surgery this pass June and it didnt work, now my knee is worse, and he wants to go back in and do more of the same, as he states to me... I don;t know what to do, did you have successful surgery from this Doctor, or are there others in the area that are good.

I dont know anything about your doc, but if you have any doubts about your OS or his treatment plan get another opinion from another OS. Ask for your records and surgical report, x-rays ect and bring them to your apt.

Linda,

I have no idea.  I even asked my mom-in-law for you (she has a house on Hutchinson Island), and she hasn't heard of him either.  We haven't been to that side of the state for a few weeks, but last time we were there, everything was destroyed.  I hope you faired well during the hurricanes...  If you are willing to make a 3 hour drive, my doctor is Seth Gasser at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute here in Tampa.  He is an excellent surgeon, and specializes in knees.  I have an appointment with him in a few weeks, so I can ask him if he knows anyone in your area who is good....

Hi there

Sounds like you would definately be wise to get a second opinion.....I found some info on your surgeon quite easily on google and he is a general Orthopaedic Surgeon (sounds knowledgeable tho)

You really need to be seeing a SPECIALIST knee surgeon....eg/ Someone who ONLY does knees!
