Secondary reactive synovitis-- Plica exision
« on: October 10, 2004, 10:17:22 AM »
Over 2 months ago I had plica exised.  The first month of recovery went well and then I used the elicptical machine. My knee flared and and now more than a month after, despite the indomethacin (anti-inflammatory drugs) and immobilty on my leg (hoping that staying off it would help)  I am still in great pain.  My knee still pops at full flexion/extension and it maintains to hurt when I move it at all.  I fear that at this point it must be scar tissue because simple inflammation from workingout should be gone at this point due the to treatment of it over a month. PLEASE-- if anyone can relate or has methods of recovery I would deeply appreciate a response asap.
Gratefully Yours,
