Soccer, softball, tennis, swimming, basketball.

Soccer-age 4-13
Softball-age 8-13
Tennis-age 8-still playing
Basketball-1 season (I hated it...no offense)
Swimming-5-11

At one point I played soccer, softball and tennis at the same time. When my knees got bad I gave up everything except tennis.

I used to play basketball, soccer, and lacrosse. I also did a lot of skiing too and a little skating. *sigh* I don't think I'll ever get to play any sports again.  :-[

Oh...I almost forgot. I used to do karate as well, six years of it and quite a few medals and trophies. :)

It's a bittersweet thread for me, but interesting nonetheless.

Before all the shanagans with my knee and wc, I used to play:
Netball for 20 yrs
Volleyball for 11 yrs
squash 4-5 yrs
I also love badminton and played at school.
I used to teach PE but that is not an option.

Now I swim for upkeep sake and garden.....  Well synchronised swimming is an event!  (sorry to any one who does that ;) )

One day I'd like to get back to some sort of team sport.

Yay Team Kneegeeks! ;D

Basketball- 10 years.
Track- 5 years. (varsity captain/6th in the region for the 100m dash!)
Running- ever since I can remember (I'm almost 18)
Volleyball- 3 years
Soccer- 1 year

I played pick up fball games, rollerblade hockey, pretty much all that fun stuff. But I haven't been able to run/play sports since August of 2003. I've been told to give up my dream of returning to sports even recreationally, but I'd give anything to run again so we'll see about that. haha

I'll start by saying I'm 32 :)
In order of favorites -

Softball all my life
Volleyball  14 years on and off
Football (American) 2 years - full contact NFL rules, yes girls play too
Basketball 20 years on and off

Softball, volleyball and basketball were my high school sports. Played various other sports, pretty much anything I had the opportunity to, along the way; like:
raquetball
tennis
crew
soccer
flag football
walleyball (volleyball in a raquetball court with a net)
baseball
powerlifting (just started actually)

One thing I'd love to try out that I've not had the chance to yet is Ice Hockey...the rate things are going I may not get to :(

Highland dancing, is well scottish dancing.  It's one of the types of dance from Scotland.  Like how riverdance is irish dancing.  You can go to youtube and find some videos of it.  I was supposed to travel to Manitoba this month and dance in a tribute show, but alas, my legs will not let me.
