 ??? is it possible to pull or tear any of the ligaments while your knee is in a brace and it is locked at 0.

well i dunno about the being locked part- but i was wearing one of those big athletic knee braces after i partially tore my acl...and i completely tore the ligament even w/ it on....

I experienced something like that, not exactly the same thing though.  The doctor told me that I could go back to practice (basketball) with a knee brace and my knee gave out on me... and I was on the floor again, I might have even done more damage to my knee, I haven't gone back though since that happened.  

Good luck though.

I retore my MPFL and tore my MCL two weeks after my MPFL was repaired along with having a revision Fulkerson done.  I tripped while on my crutches and landed on the leg while it was in the brace locked at 0.

i was sleeping and woke up with pain on the right side of my left knee it hurt mainly when i move it ???
