Title: 3rd ACL - graft decision to make
Post by: Piri00 on July 23, 2018, 02:44:32 PM
Hi all

I have tough decision to make.
I have found two good doctors to fix my 3rd acl in right knee.
Both of them are against taking new graft from good leg (left ) as on my right hamstring and BTB were already used.
One of the doctor would like to use donor graft and second doctor my Quad tendon.

Not easy decision to make as donor would be simpler to save my quad tendon but not sure if it is that strong and will not be rejected by my body.

Anybody has experience with donor acl please?
