Title: Discomfort in the uninjured leg
Post by: Rajeev on June 04, 2018, 02:38:38 PM
Guys,

I had an ACL recon + Lateral meniscus repair last year. My surgical knee ( Left leg ) is absolutely fine.

Now my right knee feels different. From past two weeks, Feels like my right leg needs a POP and sometimes while walking I feel something is not right.

I have no pain or swelling and can bend my knee without any pain or POP. Can do squats as well and walk up/down the stairs without any pain. Leg feels strong except while walking I don't feel like its normal.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening ? DO you want me to get my knee checked even if I have no pain ?

Any chance you are still overcompensating with that leg a bit? In that case it might be getting a bit grumpy. Worth seeing a physio, as a starting point?

Thanks for the feedback.

I rested up my right knee for a couple of weeks with not much activity. Now my right leg is almost good.  As rightly pointed, I may have overused my uninjured knee.

PT for both the legs is being followed.

But still whenever I rest my knee for a couple of minutes and start walking again, it feels like it needs a POP...

How to get rid of this feeling to POP
