Title: Right Knee Suprapatellar Bursal Effusion problem
Post by: Ragge2171 on April 17, 2016, 07:33:43 AM
Good morning/evening all,

A bit about myself, this is my first post after all. I am a 25 yr old male, ex army, and need help with my right knee.

I needed some advice regarding my right knee, I had a meniscectomy approx 8 weeks ago and everything seemed ok until I went for a light jog. I then proceeded to have an XRAY done (2 weeks ago) and I found out that I have a moderate suprapatellar bursal effusion and no other problems, meniscus is fine tendons normal etc.

I have been to a physio and he told me exercises to do which I have been doing religiously for the past 2 weeks and my knee doesn't seem to be improving at all !

It is so difficult to squat (eg for sitting down), also if I have been sitting for a long time and need to stand its quite painful.

Can anyone offer any advice or has anyone been through something similar?
Thank you kindly for your time !!!!
