Title: Did my acl graft loosen???
Post by: Mdemartino on February 28, 2016, 03:14:39 PM
Currently 13 weeks post acl/meniscus surgery. I notice that when I walk up stairs, I can visually see and feel my tibia translating forward. I also feel this when I slid my feet into my shoes. Is this kind of translation normal until the graft completely heals, or should I be worried? I had my pt examine my graft and he said there is movement but that the graft pulls back and doesn't feel lax. However I know how unreleliable the lachman's test can be sometimes. Is there cause for concern or just psyching myself out?
