Title: Ruptured knee tendon
Post by: chief13 on March 04, 2015, 08:19:59 PM
If possible could i get some advice.
To cut a long story short, I had a patella tendon repair in Nov 2014, I've not had the best of luck because after numerous physio visits we've had no joy and only got a 27 degree bend in my knee.
After lots of meetings and hospital appointments i finally got to see a new surgeon.
I had a MUA procedure but with no joy.
We've now discovered, when i had the original surgery the surgeon shortened the tendon, so its pulled my patella down to far so hence having no bend.
I now have to have more surgery but i will only gain a 50 degree bend.
Has anyone else experienced a similar problem.

Hi Chief13

Read your post - suggest that you repost on Ruptured Patella Tendon/Surgery which is the main thread for a RPT injury.
