Title: clunking knee joint
Post by: maxnmolly on November 15, 2013, 02:33:00 AM
I had a partial  biomet right knee replacement one year ago. Everything went well after the surgery and rehab. About 4 weeks ago, I made a bad misstep at the bottom of the stairs. I jammed my right foot into the landing and twisted about 180 degrees clockwise. Twisted ankle, knee and hip. Nothing seemed to be broken so I limped by for a few days. Ever since, I have had a very bad clunking when I walk. It clunks twice with every step. It is especially bad when  go up steps. The surgeon says "these things sometimes clunk after surgery" I think I damaged something. Any input would be helpful.
