Title: Knee biopsy?
Post by: MyKnee2010 on June 19, 2012, 10:14:24 PM
Hi,

I was looking at my medical records. I had my right knee scoped last February. The surgeon had a biopsy done on fluid & tissue just to rule out infection. For the tissue sample it says no polys, no organisms but it does say I have "very rare mononuclear cells". The surgeon never mentioned this so I guess he didn't think it was a big deal.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this & what it could mean? I've been doing a little searching on it & haven't really come up with anything yet. Just wondering as I attempt to figure out what is going on with my knee.

Thanks!
