Title: Problems with hip, groin, and/or back after patella break?
Post by: DeBora4BobbyL on October 17, 2011, 10:12:20 PM
I broke my patella May 7, 2011. The doctor said I broke it in 3 places but after awhile he didn't think it needed surgery. I personally, think it healed wrong. I cannot afford a doctor until I find employment. Now, after 5 months, the left leg, where I broke my knee, seems longer than the other now. When I walk, not only does the broken knee pop and grind, but the groin where my leg bends on the opposing side pops and my right side back and hip hurts. It is severely painful to walk. Does anyone else have problems like this, especially with the joints hurting on the opposing side due to a knee that did not heal correctly? It seems like my gait is off. Is there anything that can be done?
