Title: What is next step for my knee (post iForma)
Post by: Osprey on July 14, 2011, 02:41:53 PM
I have had several knee ops .. Grade 4 OA on Lateral side, with 27mm hip-knee-ankle misalignment due to loss of bone off femur.
Culminating in an iForma implant being installed in  2008

iForma have ceased as a product .........  (somewhat worrying)

Other than a complete knee replacement, what is there new out there ?
Can we yet regrow the bone loss ?   (Stem cell articles say yes, but maybe long way from availability)
Can Bone be refaced, or cartilage grafted ?   (Cadaver graft)
