hi im  goin to join a gym next week  but i have never been before.    i damaged my acl ligament about 4months ago.  so i need to make it stronger.       what excersise should i be doin at the gym.   

there things called plates and steps  i have no idea what they mean.  anyhelp.     i just wana make my left knee stronger

I would suggest seeing a physical therapist, just a couple times.  They will be able to pinpoint what you need to work on and prescribe the correct exercises.
