Title: Lateral anterior knee pain
Post by: j_escape21 on August 03, 2006, 08:49:11 PM
Hello,

Have been through 4 months of trying to find a solution.
I have had xrays, mri and a scope performed. The orthopedic surgeon cleaned up the knee and said it looks great. I have had a ACL replacement 6 years ago without any problems up until now.The surgeon thinks my ACL looks great. I have been going through heavy therapy for 2 months now after the scope. I read in the report that I have chondromalacia. While Im walking now, the pain hasnt decreased in my knee at all. The pain is just below the kneecap, just offcenter to the outside. When I walk downstairs or wear anything but sneakers, my knee starts swelling and hurting. Sandels destroy it. I dont do anything past walking and doing my pysical therapy exercises. Helppppppppp. Anybody else have these issues. When this occured I was running some what and doing pushups every mourning and swimming a little. THats it.
