Title: Popliteus or Something Else
Post by: Humphrey on March 26, 2006, 05:02:51 PM
I was diagnosed with a strained popliteus.  My left leg has a great deal of stiffness behind the knee area.  This has been going on for years now.  I had a year where it went away, but then it came back.  A round of physical therapy did nothing to help.  It felt good immediately afterwards, but there was no benefit.  Before I start another round of PT, is it possible I was misdiagnosed?  I'm tired of have a perpetually tight, stiff leg, especially since I do an active stretching program.  I do weight training and indoor cycling.  Any ideas, suggestions?  I'm so fed up with this.  Thanks.
