PLC-

Posterolateral complex.  This a group of ligaments found on the outer back portion of the knee.  It is formed by the arcuate, oblique popliteal, and falabella ligaments.  It is often damaged secondary to an untreated/poorly reconstructed ACL or possibly PCL.  It has also been shown to contribute to ACL reconstruction failures.  Surgical reconstruction is often necessary to restore function to the knee.

What kind of problems accompany this PLC?  What are the symptoms and mechanical limitations?
