Title: Meniscus tear ?
Post by: floorman on November 05, 2005, 04:59:34 AM
I am having a medial meniscus tear reshape on the 18th in my right leg. Is it unusual to also suspect the same issue coming on in the other leg at the same time? I'm getting a slight stinging feeling at the back of my leg crease. It could just be overuse due to the fact that I am protecting the other leg that needs surgery. Greg

I think its more of a case of you overcompensating by overusing your other leg to try protect your bad leg. I know that my meniscal tear affected my gait and one of the main factors in my deciding to have the surgery ( besides the pain and the fact that I wanted to play sports again) was the issue that it was starting to affect my good leg.

After my surgery I noticed an improvement straight away.
