Mr Magill is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with subspecialty training in Hip and Knee arthroplasty. The 'trauma' part refers to emergency surgery to fix fractured bones and this happens exclusively in Craigavon Area Hospital where he is part of a team of eleven consultants covering the Southern Health Trust. The 'orthopaedic' part refers to planned operations, primarily hip replacements and knee replacements, and these are undertaken at Craigavon Area Hospital, Ulster Independent Clinic and in Kingsbridge Private Hospital, Belfast.
