I am an orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in arthroplasty of the hip and knee joints including revision of both of these joints. I am now able to offer robotic surgery for hip and knee replacements. I am at present using the MAKO robot and I feel strongly that it offers advantages such as shorter rehab time, less pain and swelling and more accurate placement of prostheses.
