Dr Leyes is the Head of Leyes, Flores & Associates Medical Team and Clinical Consultant at CEMTRO.  He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Spanish Knee Society and has been a member of the Spanish Arthroscopy Association. 

Awards

Dr Leyes was the first Spanish surgeon selected by the European Knee Society to represent the organisation in a travelling fellowship in Asia, Australia and New Zealand. he was the recipient of the National Research Award of the Spanish Society of Orthopedic Surgery and twice received the National Award of the Spanish Knee Society. He also won first prize Sanitas granted by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health and the National Council of Medical Specialties, to the resident internal doctor with the best curriculum in Spain. The Antena de Oro 2010 - in recognition of the most outstanding professionals in the field of science - was granted to him by the Federation of Radio and Television Associations of Spain.
