After completing his orthopaedic training at Johns Hopkins Medical School and residency in Baltimore, Maryland, Dr Eaton completed a 1-year Sports Medicine Fellowship in Birmingham, Alabama under the direction of world-renowned orthopaedic surgeons Dr. James Andrews and Dr. William Clancy. Dr. Eaton is the current team physician for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, the professional baseball team in the St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay, Florida area. He is a Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He has presented papers and lectures at meetings of the Arthroscopy Study Group and the American Sports Medicine Institute's Annual Injuries in Baseball course.
