Dr. Papilion is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Colorado Medical Society, and the Aurora, Adams County and Douglas County Medical Societies. He was certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery in 1992 and recertified in 2002. He holds the position of clinical assistant professor at the University of Colorado Medical School. His special Interests include complex knee and shoulder problems, including arthroscopic meniscal repair and meniscal transplantation, autologous chondrocyte implantation (ACI), osteochondral autograft transfer procedure (OATS), and unispacer arthroplasty. Also traditional open and arthroscopic surgery, including ACL reconstruction and knee replacement. Dr Papilion has authored numerous articles and participated in numerous seminars and presentations on complex knee problems.
