Dr Henk van der Hooven is based at the Bergman Clinic, which is one of the elite orthopaedic clinics in Holland. He treats many professional sportsmen and sportswomen within his sportsmedicine practice. He does 90% knee surgery, especially ACL, PCL, complex ligament surgery and sport related problems. In addition Dr van der Hoeven looks after lots of the National team, many National squads and two Premier football teams. He does a lot of National teaching among surgeons in Holland.
