Bone breaks around the knee :

numerical data of rehabilitation of traumatic knee - - Posted by thanhnguyen (thanhnguyen), 8 January 2003

I'm a doctor in Vietnam. I'm doing a research on rehabilitation of injuried knees. I have difficulty finding study results of the same subject which I need to compare with my own.Does anyone have any data of this kind, especially numerical data,  or tell me a source for it. Thanks for any help.

thanhnguyen, very early in my research into likely outcomes in the treatment of my knee I found a fair bit of statistical data at a site operated by some folks working out of Boston Public, they seemed to be associated with the teaching side of the university.  I must admit that, on first reading, their figures painted a pretty grim picture of the chance of a satisfactory outcome as a result of surgical intervention into a traumatised knee.

Have you experience of traditional (folk medicine) methods of treating traumatic injury?
