KNEE ARTHRITIS - Bone marrow stimulation :

How can you tell microfrx is wearing out? - - Posted by stgiles16 (stgiles16), 5 January 2005

I posted this in general questions but thought that I might be more appropriate here.
I am looking for anyone with successful microfracture that has eventually worn out and had to have another procedure. I want to know how you knew that the micro was wearing thin and how long it lasted. I am one year out of a successful micro. OS looked at it in July  during another open procedure and said that it looked good but that it had bubbles in it. I dont know if that is a good thing or a bad thing. I am concerned because I have been having sharp stabbing pains directly in the microfracture spot for about a week now.

Anyone care to shed some light on this subject?
all thoughts appreciated
thanks
missy
