FWIW, there are studies showing an increased frequency of localized reactions to Synvisc with multiple series of injections.  Here's one:

This is a small study, but it's worth considering if you're looking into a second or third set of injections.

My personal results with one series of Synvisc was pain relief of about 3 months.  I'm choosing not to go with another series.
