Overuse problems of the knee :

Repetitive Motion and Knee Replacement - - Posted by flyrod (flyrod), 22 July 2004

I would like information from anyone one the following:
Knee replacement and how it will be affected by repetitive motion - specifically operating large equipment with a standard transmission/clutch that requires pushing a 1000 times a day or more.  I am assuming if this was in part responsible for the original erosion of the knee joint that it can be assumed returning to such work will similarly affect the replacement joint.  (Unless, perhaps, there is a change from a clutch transmission to an automatic).  Comments, please.......
