How much MSM? - - Posted by blackbeltgirl (blackbeltgirl), 23 November 2004

I've been taking glucosamine and chondroiting for a while now.  The research suggests that adding MSM to the mix is a good idea.  Unfortunately, I can't find any solid advice on dosage.  I've seen 500mg pills that sasy take 3 a day, and 1500mg pills that say take 2 a day.  Does anyone have any good sources to decide "how much"?

blackbeltgirl,

-I used to take 1500 Glucosamine/chondroitin
-then I eased into a 1500 Glucosmine/MSM mix
-Now I only take 1500 MSM

1500 MSM replaced my 1500 Glucosamine/chondroitin....

As good a Glucosamin/Chondroitin was - MSM is much better....  It is all natural with no Fish Cartilage....  You could have a slight allergy to FIsh Cartlige and never know it since it is slight....

Thanks.  Since I haven't noticed any improvement on the glucosamine, I'll try taking just the MSM and see if that helps.
