KNEE ARTHRITIS - Injections into the joint :

My wife has had two of the required five Supartz injections.  The second resulted in significantly more residual pain than the first one and she is apprehensive about getting the third.  Has anybody had similar experience and willing to give us some feedback on how your subsequent injections went?  

Also, is there any correlation between post injection pain and the probability of the injections eventually giving the desired pain relief?
