The patello-femoral joint :

What do you guys think? - - Posted by anasta5ia (anasta5ia), 20 June 2003

Hey everyone-

Just wanted to get your opinions.

I had a revision Fulkerson on 6/5.  I got the dressing of on Tuesday 6/17 (I still have my DonJoy brace on) and my OS said I could start a little bit of passive ROM, but still no weight bearing for a least the next three weeks when he sees me again.  Smiley

I went to the movies today, and on my way out I tripped and ended up landing on that foot.  Now my shin in KILLING me. Shocked

Do you guys think I could have knocked it loose.  Should I call my OS? Huh

Thanks,
Heather

Hi Heather, Yes you need to tell the OS what happened first thing in the morning, call right now if you are really hurting still. Theresa

Well, still in pain.   Cry  I left a message for my OS to call me, but so far, no call.  His nurse says that my chart in on his desk and that he will call me today.

Of course, it is a 70 mile drive from my house to my OS and I was near there earlier today.  So now if he does want to see me, I will have to figure out someway to get there (since I obviously can't drive myself).

Hopefully he will get back to me soon.  I was off my pain meds 3 days after surgery, but now it hurts enough that I had to take them. Tongue

OK-
My surgeon FINALLY got back to me.  He says that it would take a lot to pop out those screws, and not to stress out too much about it.  He wants me to call him on Monday if it is still bothering me.
