NOTES - Your success stories :

1 year Update - - Posted by Caroline109 (Caroline109), 4 June 2004

A year ago yesterday, I had my 1st partial meniscusectomy, on my left knee, which my OS called a "bigass meniscus tear.". I am pleased to say that it is perfect about 99% of the time. Occasionally I'll get a twinge in it, but very rarely. My scars are practically invisible too. My right knee's anniversary isn't until October and it's feeling better probably 90% of the time. It has its moments still, though.
On the other hand, my left shoulder still is getting arthtritic aches (definitively diagnosed with an MRI) and I'm trying to recover from something called golfer's elbow, although I don't golf and it was caused by using the mouse and keyboard too much, and shoulder bursitis in my right arm. It's not fun trying to restrict myself on the computer! Thank goodness there were no signs of arthritis in my knees at the time of my surgeries. I hope that will continue.
I wish everyone would have as good recoveries as mine have been going!
