KNEE ARTHRITIS - Total Knee Replacement :

Alternative to replacement: UniSpacer knee - - Posted by davedoc911 (davedoc911), 7 June 2004

At the Center for Sports Orthopaedics, we have had significant experience/sucesses with numerous UniSpacer's. To our knowledge, we have performed the greatest number of UniSpacer procedures in the Midwest. The procedure is minimally invasive as oppossed to a complete (or partial) knee replacement. We have refined the procedure and believe our results speak for themselves. It's really not age-related, it's knee anatomy- related. For the right patient, the UniSpacer represents a very good alternative to some other knee procedures.
