How long will the swelling last? It is still pretty swollen. I also still have a dark bruise behind my knee that has never disappeared. I was just wondering how much longer to expect these. Thanks! Melissa

Hi Melissa,
I still had tons of swelling 15 weeks post TTT even now, although it is better I think it will always look bigger than my other Knee. I'm at about 23 weeks post TTT and I still have a faint bruise behind my knee also. That is slowly fadeing. Either the Doctor or the PT seemed concerned about the swelling. (That is before my last scope a few weeks ago) How's your ROM?

Melissa,
My ROM is much better. I had a problem with scar tissue so it was preventing me from bending past 90.
I just had a scope to remove all that and now I'm up to 130. Which is just about full range. I can't touch my butt with my foot yet but that's OK. I think I can live with out that!
Sounds like your recovery is going fairly well. Are you still using crutches?

No I'm Not!! Thank Goodness. I hated those things. I only had those for 3 weeks. How bout you?
